  3. In case a candidate gets the job between the age of 23 - 26 can become Deputy Commissioner in the times to come.

Assistant Section Officer
  1.  An ASO gets a chance to work in different ministries of Govt. of India.
  2. Their work involves most of the Desk Job
  3. There is No Uniform
  4. Salary of ASO is Rs 56K (Approx).
  5. Usually candidates’ gets posting in Delhi as all ministries are located in Delhi.
  6. Promotions in Career:
  • 1st Promotion: One becomes Section Officer in 5-6 Years after clearing Departmental Exam or else it takes 8-10 Years.
  • 2nd Promotion: One gets the post of Under Secretary (GP 6600) after working for 7-8 Years.
  • 3rd Promotion: He or she gets promoted to Deputy Secretary (GP 7600) after working for 8-10 Years.
  • 4th Promotion: he or she is promoted as a Director (GP 8700) after working for 8-10 Years
